Case Study: Site Redevelopment

Cathleen Petersen, E.A.

Content Maintenance This well-connected wealth management company boasts a client list that’s a virtual “who’s who” of Silicon Valley executives and entrepreneurs. With these high-powered clients, CPEA was looking to provide a more exciting and more informative destination on the web.

Challenge:

The economic conditions continue to be a challenge for everyone – especially those who watch their assets closely. The company wanted a site that told their story, but also offered a more dynamic and useful content. In addition, they wanted a way to stay connected to their current customer base. Their current site was very simple, but not really reflective of the stature or purpose of the company or it’s owner.

Solution:

Techthree redeveloped the CPEA website with a more active color palette, and more dynamic content. We established a monthly newsletter, with the same look-and-feel as the site, and helped the company begin to collect email addresses of their clients. We also sourced and customized a variety of financial calculators, added a well-thought-out reading list (provided by the Principal) and highlighted some of the company’s community service work.

To keep things fresh, we established a regular, predictable, ongoing retainer that cover all monthly site updates and the development and posting of a customized monthly newsletter. In addition, each year we update color palettes and give the entire site a good onceover to make sure the content stays fresh.
